Lower Chapel Falls is a small falls that empties out into Lake Superior at Chapel Beach. For information on how to get to Chapel Beach, see the pages for Chapel Falls and Chapel Beach. You can easily see these three attractions in one trip.

When I visited Lower Chapel Falls in July 2000, it was very windy because a storm was blowing in. Some of the driftwood that you see in the picture to the right was being continuously washed back and forth by the combined action of the waves and the stream.
