Here you can see the stream from Scott Falls as it empties
into Lake Superior.

Underneath this tangle of logs and brush flows the stream
from the falls. On the other side of the stream is a concrete
abutment. I was standing on its mate when I took this photo.
I have no idea what the abutments are for.

Here's some driftwood that's washed up quite a bit higher
than the current shoreline. For what it's worth, I've heard
that the lake level in Marquette this year is five feet lower
than normal.
